Lesley and Andy Peters, Keller Williams real estate agents who co-own The Peters Company, were Kudzu users before they were Kudzu advertisers, so they were sold on the site. “If we had a client who was selling or buying a house who had a particular service company need and we didn’t know who to recommend, we would find someone on Kudzu,” Andy Peters explained. “And our clients were always happy with the work that was performed.”
It’s no surprise, then, that Lesley and Andy decided to advertise their real estate firm on Kudzu. They started with a basic profile, upgraded to a premium profile and then expanded the relationship with Kudzu to include ads.
“Kudzu was our first experience with internet-based pull advertising, “ said Andy. “Out of every ten leads we get from Kudzu, two or three are perfect fits for our business. That compares to an average of one perfect lead for every 300 postcard mailers we send out.”
According to Andy, Kudzu does a particularly good job of bringing us couples between the ages of 30-40 who are looking to move up when they buy a new home. What’s more, Kudzu drives traffic to The Peters Company’s website, in which they have invested quite a bit of time and money. Andy writes a blog on the site, and finds it an effective marketing tool for attracting attention from potential new clients, so the steady stream from Kudzu is important.
“Even though it has been a slower market for many agents this year, it has been a great year for us,” Andy stated. “Kudzu has been a boost that has certainly helped.”
